Dear KARA Reader,
This is the new KARA website: www.kidsatriskaction.com
Thirty years of reporting on abused and neglected children lives on that site. The stories, the data, the Deep Dive reports, the podcast, the articles people send to their legislators. It is rich with years of stories, data, and resources. KARA aspires to be the front door for anyone who wants to understand what life is actually like for at-risk youth and families and the world of Child Protective Services. This needs to work for the people who use it.
That is where you come in. New websites need feedback from the people they are built for. Not a survey, just your honest reaction.
A few questions, if they help:
- Could you find what you came for?
- Did anything confuse you or make you give up?
- What is missing that you expected to see?
- If you were sending one page to a friend, a donor, or your state representative, which one would it be, and was it easy to find?
A few sentences is plenty. One sentence is fine. Tell us what is broken and we will fix it.
Reply to info@invisiblechildren.org with Website in the subject line (we will add the new Kids At Risk Action email address in the weeks to come)
Thank you for your interest in the issues of at-risk children. This work has never depended on institutions. It depends on people who keep paying attention.
