KARA’s new International Child Abuse section spotlights the urgent reality that childhood trauma and abuse knows no borders, affecting more than half of all children globally each year through physical punishment, emotional harm, and sexual abuse (WHO). By bringing together critical data and resources from around the world, this section aims to educate, inspire action, and support the millions of children who suffer in silence, ensuring that KARA’s advocacy extends beyond Minnesota to every child who needs a champion (PAHO; IHME).
This effort has been championed by KARA volunteer Eshanee Singh and supported by the many student interns from colleges around the world.
