This morning’s post from Safe Passage for Children of MN draws attention to Child Protective Services need to gather more information about a child’s safety before making the decision to investigate.

Family Assessment shouldn’t be the default. It should be the “alternative response” it was intended to be (from the article). Join Safe Passages at the Capital this session and educate your State Representative about keeping at risk children safe in your community. KARA has joined them for many years in this program to educate our government officials and it is working!

They provide all the training you need – it’s quick and easy and only once a year.
