KARA is partnering with a leading mental health provider to provide at risk youth free access to a digital program and a supportive coach with a convenient program and 24/7 availability.
This is powerful new tool for youth struggling with trauma and emotional issues. KARA’s goal is to help provide targeted early intervention for at risk youth and mitigate the adversity and trauma many have experienced.
Homeless & LGBTQ youth, foster children, African American and other minority youth and youth in child welfare and juvenile justice will be given preference for this project.
This three-part program is app based and self-learning (a form of artificial intelligence, it knows the user) and includes a supportive coach.
The program avoids travel and waiting for clinic visits, mitigates the impact of childhood trauma builds optimal health and wellbeing.
The pilot program is scheduled to begin in 2021.
