Child Protection work is hard. Community CASA volunteers (Court Appointed Special Advocate) speak for abused and neglected children in County Child Protection.
Volunteer CASA Guardians ad Litem spend their days with abused and neglected children that have been raped, neglected, beaten, and tortured by other means.
It’s hard not to carry their stories home with us. This compelling (Janesville) short talk (5min/video) addresses the problems and solutions facing workers, policy makers, foster and adoption families, and most of all, the children that need our help to find safety and healing from our community.
Most of all, it speaks to what must happen to keep children safe.
